Following a 'year in the life' of MarketPlace: Creative People and Places, explore the wide range of creative events happening across the market towns in Fenland and West Suffolk. All of these activities began with a simple creative conversation - they're happening all around us.
The exhibition continues until Sunday 29th March. Babylon Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday, 12pm to 4pm with free entry.

The popular annual Chatteris Midsummer Festival is back in 2019 & the theme this year is ' #Throwback: 100 years of music and fashion'
Chatteris in Myth and Memory is a community led project that brought together local people and a range of artists to explore history and myth through a variety of art forms. This Saturday Chatteris Museum will open its doors during the national Heritage Open Day to celebrate this local initiative.
The Celebration Day for Chatteris in Myth and Memory project will start off with a special programm for two local schools. Children from Glebelands Academy and Kingsfield Primary will spend the day in our marquee at Farrowfields enjoying a variety of creative activities.
Join us on Thursday, 22 June, at 6.30pm at Farrowfields in Chatteris for an evening of storytelling and music in celebration of Chatteris and the official book launch of Chatteris In Myth and Memory; Art Through Storytelling.
Following our conversations back in the summer about the need for professional development opportunities in marketing the arts events and projects in your areas, as part of the Market Place project we have put together a workshop on “Working with Press”. The workshop will give an overview of the general principles of working with mass media to develop a profile of the arts organization, promote events and projects, and increase attendance.
