Creative People and Places Consortium for Fenland & Forest Heath

£32,000 per annum (40 hours per week) Fixed term post until 31st October 2021

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Creative Manager to lead and manage the artistic delivery of the Market Place project.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Babylon ARTS Operations & Development Manager and with a Market Place Creative Producer in the creation, planning, development, delivery and facilitation of this diverse and imaginative arts programme. The opportunity for the recruitment for this role follows a restructure which will see the creation of this new post, plus an Operations & Development Director and Market Place Creative Producer to deliver the extension period for Phase1 and a new three year Phase 2 Market Place programme.

Market Place is an Arts Council Creative People and Places (CPP) funded programme which is designed to develop new ways of engaging more people in and empowering them through great arts experiences in areas of least engagement. Supporting seven market towns of Fenland and Forest Heath to bring creativity, fun and excitement to the region; Market Place has an extension for its Phase 1 programme through to July 2018 and Phase 2 will run from October 2018 – 2021.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in leadership and management of multi-strand artistic programmes, a commitment to supporting people and communities who are not currently engaged in the arts, rigorous and responsive project management and experience of inspiring, motivating, and upskilling others.
