Brandon Storywalk: Tales of Riot & Rebellion, Fire&Flint – 23 September
Join Dave Tonge, a professional storyteller, as he leads his story walk around Brandon blends fact and fable, truth and lies to tell something of the unique history of the town while celebrating it’s place in the much wider world. Come one, come all and hear tell Saxon, Medieval and Tudor myths, tales and legends from long, long ago. It’s a storywalk that tips a nod to Brandon’s history from Saxon through to the 18th century, while also locating it in the wider world through the telling of traditional folktales relating to the local history themes and to the Fire&Flint.
The story walks are part of Fire&Flint festival day on Saturday, 23 September, and will start from Brandon Library at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and the last one at 5pm. No need to book – just show up 10 min before the walk begins.
