Last year Brandon Ferry Tales brought local stories and traditions to life through a variety of art forms. As a celebration of creativity in the community and showed how united the community of Brandon is, with many local arts groups, societies, and businesses coming together to celebrate the rich history of their town and offer a fun family day for local people. This year we’re going even bigger as we are getting ready for the “Fire&Flint” festival day on 23 September.
We’ll be collaborating again with Shoestring Theatre Company, Snail Tails, the Suffolk Poetry Society, Brandon Arts Society, Face-It and Brandon Country Park. Brandon Library will also be getting involved with storytelling sessions. Dan Shorten of Anomic Multimedia is producing a light projection show for Market Hill as creative producer for the event.
